Costomize your Garmin Mobile XT for Nokia 5800 : Vehicle Installer

Tired with the default icon use in Garmin GPS, try another icon or Vehicle appear on your Garmin GPS by installing the Garmin GPS vehicle installer. As see in the picture below, my vehicle icon appear to be a horse. This is only for fun hope that will entertain you on your long traveling.

There are many vehicle installer for Garmin GPS to be choose. What you need to do is just to download the Garmin GPS vehicle installer bundle file on your computer.

Step to install the vehicle installer.

1. Download Vehicle installer file folder on your desktop.
2. Connect your nokia 5800 to your computer and select mass storage.
3. Open your nokia 5800 mass storage root folder and find garmin folder.
4. Find vehicle folder in garmin folder and if this folder is not exist, create one folder name as Vehicle.
5. Extract file .srf into the previous vehicle folder.
6. Disconnect your Nokia 5800 from your computer.
7. Open Garmin GPS XT from your nokia 5800 and go to tools > setting > map > vehicle and select your vehicle. Your vehicle is available depend on how many .srt file your are transferred.
8. You done!!!

This Handy Clock application consists of 7 sub application on it. They are World clock, Day-night map, Calendar, Alarms, Timers, Stopwatch and Time log.

World Clock
World Clock views shows times in five cities of the world. The top city is your home city. The time in the home city is the phone time. The times in other four cities are calculated from the home city time and city's details like GMT offset and summer time setting.

Day-night Map
Day-night map shows day/night zones all over the world and location of the current city. Scroll up/down to switch between cities. There are the same five cities that are in world clock view.

Calendar
This handy clock application also consist a calendar application as a sub application. Calendar view shows two months calendar. scroll up/down to go to the past/future.

Alarm

Timers

Stopwatch

This is done by storing the time, when the project was started. Note that changing the phone time in this case can lead to an error in the project time's calculation.
