Tired with the default icon use in Garmin GPS, try another icon or Vehicle appear on your Garmin GPS by installing the Garmin GPS vehicle installer. As see in the picture below, my vehicle icon appear to be a horse. This is only for fun hope that will entertain you on your long traveling.
There are many vehicle installer for Garmin GPS to be choose. What you need to do is just to download the Garmin GPS vehicle installer bundle file on your computer.
Step to install the vehicle installer.
- Download Vehicle installer file folder on your desktop.
- Connect your nokia 5800 to your computer and select mass storage.
- Open your nokia 5800 mass storage root folder and find garmin folder.
- Find vehicle folder in garmin folder and if this folder is not exist, create one folder name as Vehicle.
- Extract file .srf into the previous vehicle folder.
- Disconnect your Nokia 5800 from your computer.
- Open Garmin GPS XT from your nokia 5800 and go to tools > setting > map > vehicle and select your vehicle. Your vehicle is available depend on how many .srt file your are transferred.
- You done!!!
